The much anticipated release of my latest art is upon us. The collections consisting of 27 new images are available for licensing within a variety of categories. My authorized art publisher Gango Editions is hosting the works as canvas prints, posters and prints. They are available to the art industry, retailers and catalog companies on a wholesale basis. Until I confirm which retailers are carrying the new works I invite you to my website boutique to make purchases.
Cocktail Hour Wall Art Series by Aaron Christensen
The Cocktail Hour collage series, pictured above, is an exploration of cocktails, spirits and adult beverages as a continuation of my highly popular Lounge and Libations collection. The pieces support the growing interest and popularity of man caves and adult retreat spaces.

If you love pugs give me a snort, snort, wheeze!
I'm loving how the editorial pieces for my dog art line are progressing. Or maybe I just love pugs next to my art, even if it's the noisy end. Wait both ends of pugs are noisy....ha!

Wowza, the weekend was a prop, prom and mom weekend! I had to whip up some photostyling props for the photog wifey to use in shooting our daughter's prom. Built and photographed a DIY camp stool project with my son for his college media class. Assisted my wife at her weather crazed prom shoot and squeezed in mommy day brunch with MIL. Thank goodness the work week is here, so I can relax....ha! No, I'm not going to the prom, I'm just the lighting test dummy.
A rare sighting of that Embellishments guy.

Mom's day weekend was a wild and crazy one for us. Not only was it my daughter's prom, my son needed a DIY for his college media class (of course at the last minute...ahum) and I had to gather some impromptu props for a weather dependent photo shoot for the wifey.

It's a beautiful picture huh? That's my peanut and her boyfriend. What you don't see in the picture is the mud covered prop dad. I had to lay down and wrestle plywood so the Promsters wouldn't get mud on their prom wear. The bike was sinking into the mud and the wind gusts made photographing balloons really difficult.
My daughters boyfriend was happy to have my wife's assistance with the corsage.
Between Prom and Mother's Day brunch I had a last minute calling to help my son with a DIY for his media class. With zero notice, let's make a camp stool! My children take for granted that the studio is loaded, part craft store and lumber yard. Pulling a camp stool out of my (ahem) is all in a days work. I wouldn't have it any other way....they need me. At least for now, ha!
My son's DIY video doesn't mention one should plan ahead for these kind of things.
The Prom dinner was spared rain showers. It couldn't have been a prettier evening.
I neglected to capture any pictures of the Mom's Day brunch that was squeezed in. This guy was busy eating......

Who said no more monkeys jumping on the bed? Not me...jump away my friends, jump away! One more dreamers wish crossed off the list...now what? More jumping! Thank you to my friends who patiently watched their bedroom evolve from a brown and hunter green adult bedroom into a lil' girl's hangout, bedroom and performance space. Can I get a Ta Da!

Elizabeth was kind enough to send me a photograph of how she's using my modern sports art in her son's room. They really pop on the blue wall! Thanks for sharing the picture with me Elizabeth. It is rewarding to see my work find a home and have a part in personalizing rooms for children.
